Punakha Festival Tour

Tour Synopsis

Bhutan is set high in the Himalayas between India and China; where snow-capped mountains, verdant valleys, dense jungles and crystal-clear rivers combine with a calming ancient Buddhist culture. During this tour we visit the major historical and religious sites in Paro, Thimphu and Punakha; watch dawn break over the High Himalayas; perhaps ride a mule to the iconic Taksang monastery in its lofty position 900m above the Paro valley; visit Buddha point and have a bird’s eye view of the Thimphu valley; walk in the valley of the Black-neck Cranes and witness the unique Punakha Drupchen. Bhutan, home of the Peaceful Thunder Dragon, welcomes you.
